We specialise in London roofs and roof repairs, so if you need a new roof built, flat-roof repaired or new guttering, we can help.
Roofing quotes are free however if our roofer needs to erect a ladder in the course of providing a quote, we charge £45 +vat.

Often, simple repairs can be made in half an hour. If it is not possible to carry out the repair at this time, the initial charge will be deducted from the quote should you approve it.

Wayne is our Head of Roofing. He is a master of all aspects of roofing including roof construction, roof repair, and eco-friendly roofing. He has worked with Affleck for over 6 years and was part of the team that worked on Windsor Castle after the fire in 1992.

We are often asked how much a new roof would cost. The answer invariably is ‘how long is a piece of string’. However, for a classic up and over terraced roof we would advise a cost in the region of £4000 + VAT.
This would include a total strip of the existing roof, laying of felt and batten then re-tile with concrete tiles including all needed lead work.
This price is based on a 50 meters square roof with easy access to rear garden, includes scaffolding.

Considering buying or selling your property, or just concerned about the condition of your roof? We offer a comprehensive report on your roof which will highlight areas for concern, photographs of your roof, tips for maintenance and a free quotation of any works required. As an extra incentive, should you wish to carry out the works suggested in your report we will refund you the cost of the report!

From time to time, you may find that individual tiles need replacing on your roof. Affleck offers a tile replacement service where we can carefully match and replace your tile.
Please note that the cost of this service is based on 30 minutes labour and is exclusive of materials and the assumption that we can gain access with a ladder. Should we require scaffolding the price will increase.

Blocked or broken gutters are a major cause of damp penetration to your property. Keeping gutters clear of debris and maintained properly can save you money. Affleck will send a trades person to safely clear your gutters of debris and attend to any damage visible. This cost is for gutters to the front of your property only and only for gutters that can be safely accessed via a ladder.
